Kevin Durant And The New, Exciting Oklahoma City Thunder

Now that I have vented about losing the Supersonics to the town of Oklahoma City, I want to talk about Kevin Durant and his young team, the Thunder. Even though I live in the Pacific Northwest, I still always check up to see how Durant is doing in his NBA career.

And you know what? The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the rise and are getting a lot better. They still get beat up by some of the better teams in the NBA, but they seem to now be beating the teams that they should win against. Like the Sacramento Kings, who they pounded a few days back, 104-89. And last night, they beat the Detroit Pistons in Detroit, 91-83. Kevin Durant had 25 points and 12 rebounds against the Pistons in the win.

The Thunder have a nice, young team with some really good players. Players like Jeff Green, Russell Westbrook and of course, Kevin Durant. They are lead by head coach Scott Brooks.
They are a fun team to watch and Durant could be heading for a career year in 2009-10.
